Отдых в Италии

Shamelessly we slept until 10:30, which is really late for us!  But, actually, it felt great. Then we left our hotel and headed to sightsee but got distracted by the shopping!

By chance we went to the leather market. We looked around for a while and decided we weren't going to buy anything. Though a few minutes later we both caved after all, and bought the most beautiful black portfolios for interviews in the fall. You know what they say, you've gotta spend money to make money!

Then, Abbey caved again and got a caramel-colored leather purse. Surely, there was no good reason, except it was beautiful.

We still had every intention of seeing more sights but then we passed Zara, a great Spanish store. We had to go in – and, by the way, did very well for ourselves! Abbey got an adorable dress, apparently to add more color to her Italian wardrobe, as well as some cute shoes.

Later, from there we went to Max Mara, actually, we had seen an adorable dress in the window. I must confess, this time I ended up getting the dress, as well as beautiful cranberry wool stole with giant buttons. It seemed silly to buy a wool coat in June, but, in fact, it was so beautiful that I couldn’t resist buying it.
