- Wow, Becky. You’ve lost a lot of weight. You’re so skinny now! How’d ya do it?

- Well, what really motivated me was the marathon that I ran in last month. I spent two months preparing for the marathon, so I naturally lost weight. I don’t think I woulda lost so much weight if it hadn’t been for the marathon.

- So it only took you two months to lose all of that weight? I think you’re encouraging me to do the same. I keep trying to whip myself in shape, but I always find a reason to put it off. I think I’m gonna take the bull by the horns this time, and commit myself to losing twenty pounds. My health depends on it.

- I dunno. I think you look fine as you are. Do ya really think you need to lose weight?

- Yeah. My back began hurting about a month back, which compelled me to see a doctor. The doctor convinced me that if I lost at least 10 pounds, and start exercising regularly, then I will have fewer back pains.

- That’s probably true. Preparing for the marathon not only did wonders for my body, but also wonders for my mood. If you want, I will help you train. I need something to make me stay in shape now that the marathon is over, anyway.

- Great idea! When do you wanna start?

- How ‘bout tomorrow? I am free in the evening. I’ll give you a call tomorrow afternoon, k?

- Sure, sounds great. So, until tomorrow!
