Пропавшая кошка, вариант 2

Alex looked all over his apartment for his cat, but he couldn’t find it anywhere. He began to worry, so he went out on the street and began to call its name. The cat didn’t appear, so Alex approached the first police officer he saw, and asked the police officer for some advice. The police officer told Alex that he had just seen a cat, that bore a resemblance to the one Alex had described, crawl under a nearby bush. Alex looked there, and, low and behold, there the cat was. Alex thanked the police officer profusely, and called the officer his hero for helping him find his cat, but the police officer assured Alex that it was only a part of their job.
