- Lou, have you begun studying for the Graduate Record Exam?

- No, but I really need to. Do you think I should sign up for a GRE preparation course?

- Can’t say, really. Do you think it will help you?

- Yeah, I’m pretty sure it will.

- Are you going to take the test this summer?

- Yeah, I am.

- And you’ll apply to start graduate school next fall?

- Yeah, I want to. It all depends on my GRE score, though. If it’s not high enough, I might study and take it again. The score is really important for admission into graduate school.
