Though the biology teacher was firm about wanting to teach the intelligent-design theory in his biology class, the school board prohibited him from doing so. There were many debates among the school’s administrators, and they ultimately decided that teaching children about the intelligent-design theory amounted to not exactly telling the truth. In any case, there was no proof of the intelligent-design theory, and it seemed to be an inappropriate topic to learn in school. The biology teacher was outraged by the censorship of his class. He stuck to his guns, and quit working at the school.
